About RUTTA
RUTTA was created in 2006 by Scott Burrell. Below is an outline of our accomplishments since then.
2009-10
- Entered team into BUCS (university league) - track our progress here: Reading Men's 1st
- Entered 2 teams into Reading local league at div 3 and div 5, league tables are as follows: div 3 team, div 5 team
2008-09
- BUCS (originally BUSA university league) team finished a disappointing 6/6 - league split from 2 divisions into 3 (Reading placed in tier 2)
- Entered 2 teams into Reading local league at div 2 and div 5 (div 2 team demoted for next season)
- Started to use a robot at practice sessions
2007-08
- RUTTA won the most improved club trophy at the RUSU Sports Federation Awards!
- Entered team into BUSA (university league) finishing 6/11 - league split into 2 divisions of 6 (so effectively promoted)
- Entered team into div 3 of Reading local league finishing 2nd gaining promotion
- Purchased two new tables
2006-07
- RUTTA teamed up with local club OLOP (for Reading and league events)
- Club created
